The idea of assassinating the supreme leader may recede slightly in favor of more vital targets. These could include Iran’s nuclear and missile program facilities.

Levy explained in the interview that money and the recruitment of more soldiers are central to the survival of terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah.

While military officials assert they are “closing the gap and achieving successes,” defense industry sources caution: “We are only beginning to grasp the scale of the threat.”

Safieddine had a significant influence on decision-making within the Hezbollah terror group and was former leader Hassan Nasrallah's cousin.

The military noted that such centers had been used by Hezbollah to carry out terror activities against Israel and IDF troops. 

He also said that there would be no negotiations while fighting continued and that it held Israel responsible for the wellbeing of the group's fighters who had been captured.

Among the attacked locations were underground infrastructures, including aerial projectiles and naval vessels used by Hezbollah in its operations against the State of Israel.
