Gunfire in broad daylight, soaring murder rates, and collapsing trust in policing reveal how Arab citizens in Israel are being left without basic personal security.

According to reports, Palestinians approached an illegal farm established by Jewish settlers on private land in Area B of the West Bank. Police told KAN that dozens of Palestinians attacked the farm.

Police are allowing limited Jewish prayer on Temple Mount, marking the most significant shift to the status quo since 1967 - and stirring quiet tension on one of the world’s most contested sites.

Since the start of the year, police have been conducting operation 'On Target,' consisting of a series of focused raids on known crime forces within the Arab community.

An initial investigation found that the suspect, a 30-year-old Jerusalem resident, boarded the bus on February 1 with a bottle containing a "flammable substance," intending some form of arson.

Independent researcher Michelle Wilkins said the team enlisted forensic specialist Brian Burnett, who, after reviewing materials, concluded the evidence indicated homicide. 

"The perpetrator has been captured," Deputy Superintendent Wichian Soboon told Reuters, adding that two people - a student and a teacher - were wounded in the incident.

This marks the second such incident of Chinese nationals being charged under Australia's foreign interference laws, with Australian officials noting the growing issue of foreign espionage.

Police officers are conducting additional sweeps of nearby residences and properties to determine "whether anyone else may be injured or otherwise linked to today’s events."

Ben Gvir asked the Jerusalem District Court to stay the court-ordered promotion of police officer Rinat Saban, arguing that the judgment is “exceptional and unprecedented."
