Tally Gotliv's post drew immediate condemnations from the Prime Minister's Office, which called Gotliv's statements "infuriating."
On Tuesday, Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant issued a joint statement defending Halevi from attacks by Yair Netanyahu, Amsalem, and others.
Likud MK Tally Gotliv also got involved, attacking the journalist, whom she called a "liar" while at the Knesset.
Labor head Merav Michaeli attacked the visit by Gotliv, saying: "The political arm is coming to visit the military arm. A party of full terror supporters within Netanyahu's coalition."
"The Supreme Court has no authority to intervene in Basic Laws," Gotliv argued in the tweet.
Gotliv was sanctioned earlier this year after she blamed the High Court of Justice chief justice for a terror attack in which three Israelis were killed.
Gotliv's activities in the Knesset will be severely curbed in reaction to her refusal to pull her candidacy in Wednesday's Judicial Selection Committee vote.
Tally Gotliv addressed Israel's communications minister in a tweet, urging him to silence the channels because of "hate and lies."
MIDDLE ISRAEL: What Fox News did with Trump’s defeat is what its Israeli clones did with the deaths of writers Yehonatan Geffen and Meir Shalev.
Gotliv will not be able to speak during the next two Knesset plenum sessions on March 22 and March 27, and in Knesset committee for three days.
