El-Al announced a jump in the company's plane ticket prices for the fifth time this year due to an increase of 20% in the oil prices since its latest price update in May 2008. "Following the increase in the oil prices to unprecedented levels, the current update is minimal and necessary," Rami Levy, the deputy director-general of the company's commercial and aviation relations office, said.
