But they [Iran] have to make those initial steps to show that they are sincere. There’s no point in a theatrical meeting without any building block leading up to it.”Regarding a potential meeting with Iranian officials, the national security adviser said, “Ultimately if we find a convergence of paths, all things are possible.”Meanwhile, the official IRNA news agency quoted an Iranian official on Thursday as saying that the country was ready to launch the Bushehr nuclear power plant.Mahmoud Jafari, who is in charge of the Bushehr plant, reportedly said key tests and inspections of the power plant had been successful.Double-checks, “installations and montage stage is completed, and we are about to launch the power plant,” Jafari was quoted as saying.
