Arab legal team Adalah filed an urgent appeal to Israel's High Court on Sunday evening for increased efforts to help students across Israel's southern Negev desert access to long-distance virtual schooling. According to the appeal, more than 50,000 students in 48 Negev villages are not connected to electricity or the Internet and most do not have a computer. Since their schooling was discontinued, they have been denied the right to education.
