The Association for Civil Rights in Israel [ACRI] lauded on Thursday a ruling by the Supreme Court in which the Shin Bet's surveillance of coronavirus infected citizens would be frozen on Tuesday if there was no Knesset oversight by that date.
“We will continue to stand guard,” the ACRI said, “to make sure that the fight against the novel coronavirus is not used to back up extreme anti-democratic means.”
