Blue and White confirms still trying for 61 signatures before deadline

A senior official in Blue and White said Sunday morning that the party said it is still working to try to achieve 61 signatures in support of a government led by its head Benny Gantz. The party would need the support of the Arab Joint List to achieve the 61 signatures.

The statement came after Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman told MKs he was willing to have his eight MKs sign for both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Gantz.
