Shujaa al-Ali, one of the leaders of Bashar al-Assad's regime, was killed on Thursday night in the village of Balqsa in the Homs countryside after clashes with members of Syrian military forces, according to Sky News Arabia.
Al-Ali is responsible for crimes of killing and kidnapping civilians in the Homs countryside.
He was believed to be involved in military operations against the new Syrian regime.
