Israel's unemployment rate continues to rise, hitting 24.6% as of Thursday morning.
Between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday, 7,290 people applied for benefits, according to Israel Employment Services. On Wednesday, the total number of job seekers surpassed 1 million.
