The Knesset approved on Tuesday the plan to offer special NIS 500 grants to a variety of communities. Grants will be given for each child below the age of 18 as well as to senior citizens. They will also be given to divorced parents who rely on child support, to those who are handicapped and to those who receive additional income to ensure minimum wage.
There were 22 supporters and no objections.
