Labor leader Avi Gabbay visited the family of the late Aiia Maasarwe, the Arab-Israeli student who was murdered in Australia and laid to rest in the Arab town of Baqa al-Gharbiyye on Wednesday, 'we came to show empathy with the immense pain of her family' Gabbay said on Thursday. He also said that 'an entire section [of Israeli society] wishes to see political leaders show empathy to their pain.'
