Meretz chairwoman MK Tamar Zandberg slammed the government's incitement against the New Israel Fund on Saturday, and called the fund, along with a wide spectrum of Israeli civil society, to join Saturday night's protest against the Nation-State Law in Tel Aviv. 'Ahead of tonight's demonstration, we can feel the pressure being put on the prime minister and those around him,' she said in a statement. 'All possible incitement is being drawn against the left, the New Israel Fund and the European Union.' 'This is precisely the reason why the entire Israeli public - Druze, Arabs, LGBTs, and all who want equality - should come out and protest against the Nation-State Law, incitement and divisiveness, and for the principles of our Declaration of Independence of equality regardless of religion, race and gender.'
