Israeli police are investigating a 'price tag' attack that occurred in Jerusalem’s Shu’afat neighborhood on Monday morning. At the scene, investigators found more than 160 damaged vehicles, according to the Israel Police Foreign Press Spokesperson’s Unit. Other photos of the crime scene depict nearby walls vandalized with spray paint. The Jerusalem Police Spokesperson’s unit reported that tires were slashed.“I firmly condemn the hate crime that took place tonight in the Shu’afat neighborhood of the city, and ask the Israeli police to do everything they can to apprehend and punish those responsible,” Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion said. “The city of Jerusalem is a mixed city for all its residents, and such cases are severe and directly affect the fabric of life in the city.”MK Aida Touma Sliman tweeted: “Today Jerusalem and before that Jaljulia and ‘Akbara, and every day in the occupied Palestinian villages. Again and again the terrorists attack corruptly and scarily – and leave quietly. It’s time for the authorities to admit that there is a Jewish terror network called ‘price tag’ and make them pay the price. If they continue to be ignored, not long from now, a pogrom will be carried out here on the Palestinians.”
