Two Israeli's, Lior and Oriel, have been traveling the United States, across the American heartland to meet the Jews of American country culture - a series being sponsored by Kan News. The two filmmakers visited to rodeos, farms, ranches, went horse-riding and experienced true American country culture that you can only receive first-hand. They spent time visiting American-style kosher barbecues, as well as taking the time to experience first hand American bluegrass culture performed and created by the voices of Jewish musicians. For just one example, along the way they met a Jewish bull-rider named Johnathan Hochman, who during his time was the only Jewish bull-rider in the world, rodeoing under the name Johnny Lee - where many of his fellow riders weren't even aware of his Judaism. After his third year of riding, he decided to iron on an Israeli decal next to the already present American flag, further embracing his heritage. The videos follow a sort of underground Jewish culture within the American country setting, all through Israeli eyes.
