As Israelis headed to the polls on Tuesday, so too did dozens of celebrities, from Bar Refaeli to Netta Barzilai, Lior Ashkenazi, Aviv Geffen and more. While most of them didn’t reveal which party they selected, their message was clear: Go out and vote!
Barzilai, the winner of last year’s Eurovision, posted an Instagram story of her at the ballot box, with the message: “Go vote.” Refaeli uploaded a photo of the voting slips at the polling station, with the message: “Go Vote.” The supermodel and future Eurovision co-host didn’t endorse a party, but she has been critical of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the past. Last year, after Netanyahu voted against a bill that would extend surrogacy rights to gay couples, Refaeli posted on Instagram: “I have no words to express my anger,” adding a video clip of Netanyahu with the words: “see you at the ballot box.”

Refaeli’s Eurovision co-host, Assi Azar, posted a video Tuesday saying: “vote for whoever you want: [Blue and White leader Benny] Gantz, Bibi, Zehut, Labor – they’re all fine. The world won’t fall tomorrow regardless of who we vote for.”

Lior Ashkenazi – who appeared in an ad for the Peace Now NGO last month – also shared a photo from the ballot box, but didn’t reveal his vote.
Maya Wertheimer, the star of Shababnikim and the wife of Asaf Zamir, No. 19 on the Blue and White list, posted an Instagram photo of herself voting for – you guessed it – Blue and White.
Aviv Geffen, the outspoken singer and left-wing activist, said Tuesday that he will also be casting his vote for Blue and White.
In a column in Yediot Aharonot, Geffen said he’s voting for the party despite it being too right-wing for his tastes: “I’m going to vote today for people who will represent me in a fitting and dignified manner... the time has come to join hands, without fear, whether it’s a right-wing hand or a left-wing hand.”
Singer Harel Skaat, whose husband Idan Roll is No. 34 on the Blue and White list, posted a photo of himself voting with his new baby on Instagram – but didn’t reveal his ballot.

Achinoam Nini, the singer and peace activist, also didn’t name the party she voted for, but said she chose the list “dedicated to human rights, equality and peace!!!”

Actor Ohad Knoller (Srugim, Operation Finale), posted a video of him selecting the voting slip for the Likud Party on Instagram.
This year’s Eurovision contestant, Kobi Marimi, uploaded a photo of himself to Instagram Tuesday afternoon with the caption: “#VOTE,” and later posted a snap of himself at the voting station.

Singer and actor Aviv Alush posted a selfie with two of his children from the voting station, while actor Ori Pfeffer brought three kids to the ballot, writing the message “go out and vote.”
Yael Grobglas, the star of the popular US TV show Jane the Virgin, posted on Twitter that she would have loved to be able to vote – but she’s stuck in Los Angeles for filming.
“Happy Election Day friends!” she wrote. “What I wouldn’t do in order to be in Israel to vote today. If you have the privilege to do so, please use it!”
