Elite Duvdevan unit arrests 3 Hamas members in Jenin

Undercover soldiers from the elite Duvdevan unit backed by other army units arrested three wanted Hamas members in the Jenin refugee camp late on Sunday night and early on Monday.The operation was launched with the assistance of soldiers from the Menashe Brigade, and included the Artillery Corps Sa’ar Battalion [which acted as an infantry unit], and a Beduin scout battalion, known as Desert Reconnaissance 3.The units also carried out other counter-terrorist actions targeting Hamas in the area, the IDF spokesman Unit said.Meanwhile, acting on government orders, the Netzah Yehuda Haredi battalion, backed by Engineering units and the Civil Administration, began mapping out the homes of three terrorists ahead of plans to demolish them.Soldiers mapped out homes in Kfar Al-Muayer, where Bassam Na’asan, perpetrator of an October 30 stabbing attack at Tapuah Junction lived. In Kfar Silwad, the troops prepared to destroy the home of Anas Khamed, who ran over and injured two IDF soldiers last Friday.In A’abud, similar preparations for a demolition were made at the home of Abd Al-Magid’s family, after he stabbed and injured an IDF soldier on Friday.Elsewhere in the West Bank, security forces arrested 22 Palestinian suspects, 10 - on suspicion of involvement in unorganized violence against Israelis.Additionally, seven Hamas members were arrested in raids across the West Bank.
