Haredi man stabbed by Palestinians during argument in Jerusalem

A religious Jewish Israeli was rushed to hospital in Jerusalem with light stab wounds in what authorities believe to be the result of a verbal altercation with three other Palestinians.Initially, there were indications that the stabbing was a terrorist attack, but an initial investigation revealed this not to be the case.Emergency services said that they received a distress call at 6:32 p.m. local time reporting a stabbing near Hashalshelet Street in the Old City of Jerusalem.First responders arrived at the scene and evacuated the victim, a 21-year-old ultra-Orthodox Jew, to Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Kerem.MDA officials said that the victim suffered a stab wound in the head. The victim is fully conscious and his condition is being described as stable.
