IDF: Kite mounted with camera from Gaza hovers into Israeli territory

"[Israel] has no intention of initiating any military maneuver. At the same time, we will not tolerate any fire, any provocation," said Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman.

IDF forces sighted a suspicious object in the air that crossed the border from the Gaza Strip into Israel on Saturday morning.
IDF forces fired from a distance after which militants on the Gazan side pulled back the the object  into their vehicle and fled the scene, according to Channel 2.
The IDF spokesperson released a statement saying "In the morning [Saturday] a kite was identified with a camera crossing the border from the Gaza Strip. The IDF force that spotted the kite fired into the air from a distance and the kite and its operators fled."
According to the IDF, the kite was used to photograph the area close to the border.
A number of recent incidences emanating from the Gaza strip have tensions fraught between Israel and the coastal enclave. 
A projectile fired from the Gaza Strip fell in an open area in the Eshkol region on Thursday, triggering off warning sirens in the area and sending residents fleeing for cover. The IDF said the projectile, a mortar shell, fell in an open area and failed to cause damage or injuries.
