Home Front Command relaxes restrictions after ceasefire
The Home Front Command relaxed restrictions on southern Israel on Saturday night two hours after a ceasefire between the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Israel reportedly took effect.
According to the new guidelines, gatherings in open areas of more than 10 people and in buildings of more than 100 people will be banned in communities near the Gaza border from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. Additionally, in that time period, only workplaces with a shelter nearby will be able to open and classes will only take place within shelters.

Shield and Arrow: Israeli sources indicate ceasefire from 10 p.m. - report
A ceasefire will seemingly begin between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad from 10 p.m. on Saturday, according to multiple media reports from Israel and Turkey.
The Islamic Jihad had earlier agreed to an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire, according to unconfirmed reports from Al-Jazeera on Saturday evening.
Egyptian negotiations presented both sides with a proposal following a different formula from the previous proposals, which were reportedly rejected.

The IDF struck six Palestinian Islamic Jihad command centers in the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
One of the centers was used to fire rockets at Israel in Operations Breaking Dawn and Guardian of the Walls.
Intercepted rocket lands in Netivot parking lot, no injuries
Pieces of an intercepted rocket landed in a parking lot between buildings in the town of Netivot on Saturday afternoon.
A bomb disposal unit from the Israel Police arrived on the scene in order to investigate and search for other possible pieces of the rocket.
The site was closed off to ensure the safety of the rescue forces and local residents of the nearby houses. The police called on the public not to come to the scene, to stay in a protected area and obey the instructions of the police.
No people were injured by the fallen rocket.

Continued rocket fire from Gaza allows IDF more successes - IDF chief
IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi approved proactive and offensive plans for the continuation of Operation Shield and Arrow, he announced after an operational situation assessment in the IDF headquarters on Saturday evening.
"We attained very high achievements in the campaign, starting from the opening blows onwards, and the achievements intensify and accumulate. The continuation of the shooting of the Islamic Jihad allows us to deepen the achievements.
"We are prepared to continue the targeted killings and attacks in a precise and increasing manner, as we have done in recent days. The achievements are made possible thanks to the resilience and adherence to the guidelines by the residents of the State of Israel in general, and by the residents of the south in particular," Halevi added.

One Gaza resident killed and one injured from Islamic Jihad rockets - report
Two men were severely injured and one moderately injured from shrapnel from a volley of rockets
One Gaza resident was killed and another injured from rocket shrapnel in Shokeda on Saturday afternoon, according to Israeli media. Another man was also moderately injured.
Magen David Adom confirmed that a total of three people were injured in a volley of rockets fired toward Israel by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza.
All three men receive medical care in Soroka
The three injured, all men in their 30s and 40s, were transferred to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba to receive medical treatment where one of the men died of his wounds.
According to a statement from Magen David Adom, Two of the men had been seriously injured while the other one was in moderate condition. The severely injured men were rushed into surgery shortly after arriving at the hospital, and one died on the operating table.
Israeli media reported that the two severely injured men were Gaza residents in Israel on work permits.
