The IDF will impose a general closure on the West Bank for the duration of Purim, starting on Wednesday and lasting through to Saturday.The decision is based on directives by the government, and IDF situation evaluation, the military added.During the closure, only humanitarian and medical-linked travel for Palestinians will be permitted between the West Bank and Israel, and will require approval from the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT).
