WATCH: How Israel captured and killed the Barkan and Ofra terrorists

Israeli Border Police released a video report detailing how the counterterror YAMAM unit operated to successfully locate and kill Ashraf Na’alwa, the Barkan terrorist, and Saleh Omar Barghouti, the perpetrator of the Ofra junction shooting.A manhunt was ordered for Na’alwa after the terror attack in which he shot two Israelis to death and moderately wounded a third in a terror attack at the Barkan Industrial Park in the Samaria region of the West Bank in October, according to a police spokesperson. He had been on the run for about two months.Saleh Omar Barghouti, was the son of a West Bank Hamas leader, was arrested on suspect of links to the terrorist cell that wounded seven Israeli civilians at a bus stop outside of the Ofra settlement in early December.On December 12, 2018,the night of discussion, in which both the Barkan and Ofra terrorists were killed in police operations, police and soldiers initially identified Barghouti in Ramallah. Forces attempted to arrest Barghouti and he initially attempted to evade authorities by both gunfire and vehicular assault.In the early hours of the following morning, operations were carried out at the Askar refugee camp in Nablus to arrest Na'alwa and bring him to justice.In a report revealed by police, a task unit specializing in counterterrorism known as Yamam were documented entering the Askar refugee camp, where they eventual located and killed the Barkan terrorist.The Yamam initially entered the refugee camp under an intelligence tip, where they then located the suspected terrorist's location. Rambo, a police force dog, was sent in first and was subsequently shot a number of times before Israeli SWAT forces entered the house, realized the terrorist had a gun, then shot him dead.Rambo, the dog, was treated medically and is currently undergoing a rehabilitation period within the unit.
