Watch: Undercover Israeli forces arrest three in Ramallah riot

A protest of about 400 Palestinians in a square in the West Bank city of Ramallah deteriorated into a violent riot Wednesday, as rioters burned tires and threw Molotov cocktails and stones at security forces, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.In video released by the IDF, rioters approach Israeli forces only to be dispersed by flash grenades. As the protesters retreated, the video appears to show undercover IDF operatives apprehending specific rioters, thought to be ring-leaders.As the crowd dispersed, Border Police arrested three protestors.One of the rioters was arrested immediately after throwing a Molotov cocktail.After the three were arrested, another protester threw rocks at the security forces. They fired at his lower body.The suspects were interrogated by security forces. The IDF and security forces will continue to act in order to prevent terrorism, maintain security in the area and thwart terrorism, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
The riot comes one week after US President Donald Trump's historic announcement recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and ordering plans for the American embassy to be moved there.
