The photo was released ahead of the New7Wonders campaign's end on November 11, where the Dead Sea is competing to be one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The initiators of the project, Ari Fruchter & Shlomit Yarkoni said that they were thrilled at the release of the image.“Through the art of Spencer Tunick we were able to reach over 500 million people around the world with a new positive image of Israel and an important environmental message. We look forward to continuing to work with Spencer to prepare a full museum exhibition of his work.”
