'X Factor' Israel's Rose gets warm welcome upon return to Philippines
Fostanes, 47, won Israel's TV talent show in it's debut season. Eden Ben-Zaken took second place in the competition.

Rose Fostanes, the Filipina care-giving singer who took home first prize on Israel's X-Factor, returned to her home country on Wednesday to a warm welcome.Appearing on popular evening talk show, Aquino and Abunda Tonight, hosted by Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino, who are known as the country's "King and Queen of talk," Fostanes showed off her pipes.According to reports, the adorable woman will be staying in the country for a week and is expected to visit her relatives in Taguig as well as pay a courtesy call to Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Menashe Bar-on.Fostanes, 47, won Israel's X-Factor talent show in it's debut season. Eden Ben-Zaken took second place in the competition.Fostanes' winning performance was with the song My Way made famous by the late Frank Sinatra. Fostanes, who came to Israel four years ago, has been working for about 20 years across the Middle East. She had always wanted to be a professional singer and the X-Factor gave her a shot at her dream.
