Yes, the human-like creatures existed long ago as the archaeological science tells us.
The fundamental difference between the human-like creatures and the humans is that the human-like creatures, having the bones/sculls’ genetics like that of the humans, lived like animals between the body birth and the body death without the human morality being preserved and transferred to the next human generations.
About six thousand years ago something happened that transformed the human-like creatures into the humans. Two major factors during the space travel may be responsible for the genetic changes – the weightlessness and the irradiation by various known and unknown energy fields.
