For nearly four decades Saul David Alinsky – lived Jan 30, 1909 - Jun 12, 1972 - was an American community organizer and a writer. In his short lived work career, Barack Hussein Obama is known to have been an American community organizer as well. Alinsky is considered to be the founder of modern community organizing business. Obama followed in his ideology and footsteps.
Obama-Alinsky-two-men-of-one-kindAlinsky's organizing of people skills were focused on improving the living conditions of poor communities across North America. In the 1950s years, he began turning his attention to improving the conditions for American blacks in their ghettos, beginning with Chicago, Illinois, and later on in California, Michigan, New York City and a dozen of other social "trouble spots," as he called them.
In the 1960s Alinsky's ideas were adapted by some U.S. college students and other young organizers who used them as part of their strategies for organizing on campus and beyond. In some sense Alinsky's ideas altered American democracy; the conservative author William Buckley once said that Alinsky was "very close to being an organizational genius”.
Alinsky's rules for radical tactics were based on the Italian Communist Antonio Gramsci’s Neo-Marxist strategies, relying on gradualism, a policy of gradual reform, rather than sudden change or revolution; infiltration and the dialectic process, the reasoning in which a question-answer approach (dialectic) is used to examine the correctness, legitimacy, or validity of an assumption, idea, opinion, etc., rather than a bloody revolution. Gramsci's transformational Marxism was so subtle that few even noticed the deliberate changes occurring.
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels gave birth to Marxism, which is a socio-economic and political worldview; Marxism is a political and economic theories in which class struggle is a central element in the analysis of social change in Western societies.
Like Alinsky, Mikhail Gorbachev, the former Soviet statesman, the eighth and last leader of the Soviet Union, who served as General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1985 until 1991, when the party was dissolved, followed Gramsci Neo-Marxist strategies and not Lenin’s ones. In fact, Gramsci aroused Stalin’s wrath by suggesting that Lenin's revolutionary plan wouldn't work in the West. Instead the primary assault would be on Biblical absolutes and Christian values, which must be crushed as a social force before the new face of Communism could rise and flourish.
Malachi Martin was an Irish Catholic priest and a writer on the Catholic Church who became a Professor of Paleontology at the Vatican's Pontifical Biblical Institute and from 1958 he served as secretary to Cardinal Bea during preparations for the Second Vatican Council. Disillusioned by reforms, Martin moved to New York City where he later became an American citizen. Martin gave us a progress report in which is stated, "By 1985, the influence of traditional Christian philosophy in the West was weak and negligible. Gramsci's master strategy was now feasible. Humanly speaking, it was no longer too tall an order to strip large majorities of men and women in the West of those last vestiges that remained to them of Christianity's transcendent God."
Obama was well schooled in the Alinsky’s philosophy and its applicable operational methods.
David Alinsky, the son of Neo-Marxist Saul Alinsky wrote in a letter: “I am proud to see that my father's model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday."
Obama helped fund the Alinsky Academy: "The Woods Fund, a nonprofit on which Obama served as paid director from 1999 to December 2002, provided startup funding and later capital to the Midwest Academy. Obama sat on the Woods Fund board alongside William Ayers, the founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization. 'Midwest’ describes itself as 'one of the nation's oldest and best-known schools for community organizations, citizen organizations and individuals committed to progressive social change.'... Midwest teaches Alinsky tactics of community organizing."
Hillary Clinton, Obama and the Cult of Alinsky - (http://rense.com/general80/fon.htm): "True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism,” Alinsky taught. “They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within.” Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties .... Many leftists view Hillary as a sell-out because she claims to hold moderate views on some issues. However, Hillary is simply following Alinsky’s advice to do and say whatever it takes to gain power.”
Obama is an Alinskyite. He spent years teaching workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985 he began a four-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities.
Make no mistake, the Progressive Liberals or Radicals’ goal, of which Obama and his right hand woman, Valerie Jarrett, are one of them, is to tear down the republic and shred the Constitution. The problem is, they have nothing to replace it with; they are only bent on destruction.
A Nation can only be disgraced by the failure of its citizenry to take action in the face of tyranny. ~Donald Raleigh Ayotte August 2010.
Americans, this looks right at you! Your failure, as citizenry, to take action in the face of tyranny will only be detrimental to you, your children and grandchildren.
