The way to kitchen efficiency: Mr. Chef Quadro
No matter how you plan it, and no matter how much you prepare in advance, holiday cooking will linger around you in the end - and quite possibly, in a frantic manner - a kitchen almost bursting, on the verge of urgent awareness seeking real estate and urgent work surfaces.
It could be an intimate and compact first course or a salad that requires nothing but mixing, but the path to it, and from it, will always involve cutting corners and rinsing, chopping and drying. And yes, even that easy dessert, with the patent, will take from you whipping and rinsing and spreading and... sigh.
Because of all this, and also to overcome daily tasks completely, and much less dramatically, the Olam Hakolnoa network offers Fakir's Turkish food processor (NIS 489).
This is a "lot in one" product that does not require compromises, and is not a corner cycle. It includes a food processor, manual blender, manual frother, and other cute functions focusing on ice crushing and vegetable chopping, for example. Similar products, seemingly functional and multifunctional, have left a somewhat bitter feeling over the years, and at least one promise they failed to keep. Here, it can be said already now, this is not the story. On the contrary.
The model, under the obliging name Mr. Chef Quadro, operates on the basis of a relatively high-power engine (up to 1,000 watts) and as part of an interesting mechanism of connection to the electric handle itself, its locking, and activation of the processor through it. The handle itself works independently of course, with the blender head and the double frother, and the whole business feels tight, non-plastic, and efficient.
The food processor offers a capacity of 1.5 liters (reasonable and more in any normative home setting), two sharp stainless steel knife blades mounted on the central axis in the bowl and operated "against" seasoning herbs, for example, or onions, as well as a cutting or grating disc mounted on the upper attachment of the vessel, and serves as a cutter for hard vegetables, for example, or as a grater for cheese and nuts, among other things.
Life in Turbo
Without the processor, the handle returns to freer life, and to point and focused tasks.
It offers two operation speeds - "regular" and turbo - and worked excellently with the manual blender head in a soup bowl and also as part of the attached vessel (900 ml) which included harder fruits and less liquids, all the way to a quick home shake without too much dirtying of dishes.
The double frother did not spoil the experience, and did its job excellently. Inside the house, and kitchen, with an excellent but heavy and bulky mixer, the option to deal with a single cream vessel without complications and hassles is a great option. Allowed, of course, but tasty.
At the end of the work, the parts enter the dishwasher - a painful matter in other similar products - and close the circle there too, so generally, the All In One promise is preserved, reliable, and provides receipts, including a completely fair price tag.
