Weekend Vodka: Blue Storm

After reportedly achieving great success in restaurants worldwide, Blue Storm vodka from the Cognac region of France is now available in Israel. The brand belongs to Gabriel Adzishvili, a Jewish Israel-lover who decided it's time for the vodka to make its debut in the country.

This super-premium vodka is distilled five times according to a family recipe, gluten-free, hangover-free, with a smooth and velvety taste. It has won numerous medals in global vodka competitions over the years. Each bottle is handcrafted with blue-tinted crystal glass.Price: NIS 210

Weekend Wine: Saragat, Vermentino

Another excellent white from one of my favorite Italian wineries, where everything they produce is incredibly delicious to me.

This wine, made from 100% Vermentino grapes, a local variety characteristic of southern Italy, ranges from greenish to ripe fruity notes. From rosemary to elderflower and tropical fruit.

It is not overly sweet but rather relatively dry with a fruity freshness, with a subtle saltiness in the background that makes the sip very enjoyable.

Drink it cold and let the wine open up on your palate. A real pleasure. A wine for food. Rich cheeses, grilled fish, and even juicy sirloin strips.Price: NIS 89
