Beitar Jerusalem launched its fourth jersey of the season. The blue jersey features a message on the club’s website: "On the first anniversary of the events of October 7, we are proud to present the fourth outfit for the season together with the club’s fans, heroes who were injured in battle and symbolize resilience and pride in the people of Israel."
The club's announcement further stated: "Today, after a year of challenges and difficulties, we prove that no one can break us. The jersey symbolizes more than anything the 'Eternal Nation', a people that does not break and continues on its path. The shirt combines shades of sky blue and navy blue in collaboration with UMBRO. The slogan that is so closely associated with the people of Israel, 'Eternal Nation,' is emblazoned on the back of the jersey."
Participants in the campaign, alongside Jordan Shua and Ori Dahan, include Shalom shitrit, a Golani fighter injured in the battle for the Pega outpost, and his comrade, Shagiv Cohen, who saved his life during the fighting and was also injured. Amit Bar, who was severely injured in Jabaliya after he and his friends stepped on an explosive device, was also involved.
The soldiers expressed their excitement about meeting the players and shared their stories from the battles. Together, they discussed coping with the new reality of their lives. The new jersey will be dedicated at the upcoming match against Maccabi Tel Aviv at Teddy Stadium this coming Monday, where a ceremony will be held, attended by all participants of the campaign.
