Israel's Great Cake Survey

In celebration of International Cake Day this Sunday (July 20), just before the launch of their new summer cake collection, Ma'afe Ne'eman conducted a comprehensive cake survey across its 63 branches nationwide. According to the survey, Israelis consume an average of 8-10 cakes per year per person. The survey also revealed the favorite cake flavors among Israelis, ranked from most to least popular:

The new summer collection from Ma'afe Ne'eman features a variety of refreshing seasonal platters, including cream-filled profiteroles coated in chocolate, chilled chocolate balls, a rich mousse platter, a seasonal fruit platter, mini focaccia platters, tortilla platters, and bite-sized croissant platters.

Ma'afe Ne'eman began in Jerusalem in 1944 with a baby carriage filled with pastries, driven by the late Rabbi Baruch Ne'eman, the family patriarch who sold his exquisite products to passersby.

Over the years, the baby carriage evolved into a successful branch that replicated its success across the country. Ma'afe Ne'eman now has 63 branches offering a variety of special pastries.
