For the first time in the history of the Israel Brand Awards, a medical cannabis brand has taken first place in the Health and Beauty categories. The winner, "SOLO," is a premium brand from the Medocann Group.

The Israel Branding Awards highlights and honors the importance and impact of branding, innovation, and design, showcasing the outstanding and brilliant branding and design projects in Israel over the past two years.

What sets this brand apart this year is the integration of unique genetics grown in a high-tech, monitored INDOOR facility under strict standards, ensuring a high-quality, precise, and safe product.

"The branding strategy developed for SOLO took the product's exclusivity and turned it into a story. It speaks of shared secrets, being part of something personal, understood only by insiders. The consumption experience we aimed for is personal rather than social, which led us to choose a name that resonates with individuality – 'SOLO.'"

"The individual identity is reflected in a strong logo, the use of the numeral 1, the positioning slogan 'YOU’RE the ONE,' and the strain names based on prime numbers. The visual language is built on a boutique graphic approach with sophisticated typography and a deep leading color, combined with a high-quality holographic finish that adds an adventurous, unconventional element."

Narkis Tessler, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Medocann Group, explains, "It is important to understand that the medical cannabis field operates under extremely strict regulations, imposing significant challenges in bringing the advantages and uniqueness of SOLO products to the attention of the target audience seeking the best products available."

She further emphasizes that, "SOLO’s win represents not only an achievement for the brand but also a significant step in positioning medical cannabis as part of Israel’s mainstream health and beauty sector."
