Weekend Wine: C’est la Vie, FranceA heartfelt recommendation, a light and fun-to-drink French white wine blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, produced in southern France by Albert Bichot from Burgundy. It costs less than NIS 50.

A wine full of flavors and joy, with green aromas of fruits and herbs alongside citrus and light tropical peels. Not too sweet, but not overly sophisticated. Enjoy without overthinking.

Price: Less than NIS 50

Weekend Gin: GunpowderI debated whether to recommend gin because Gunpowder Gin is always in the top ten. But still, many drinkers don’t realize how delicious this gin is.

Gunpowder comes from a village in Ireland called Drumshanbo and mainly contains ingredients from the Far East, offering an exotic sip that goes wonderfully both neat on ice or mixed.

Gunpowder is a type of Chinese green tea, which is one of the ingredients, and besides that, the gin includes 12 botanical ingredients from Europe and East Asia such as caraway seeds, Indian cardamom, grapefruits from Indonesia, kaffir lime from Cambodia, and more.

Its citrusy, spicy taste is wonderful with soda or dry tonic, and of course, neat with grapefruit.

Price: Around NIS 160
