Samsung Israel and Billabong Israel partner to boost surf culture in Israel

Samsung Israel teams up with Billabong to promote surfing culture through a joint campaign, featuring limited-edition surfboards and perks for Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Watch 7 buyers.

As part of its launch for the Galaxy Flip 6 and the latest Galaxy Watch 7, Samsung Israel is collaborating with the popular surf brand Billabong Israel. This joint campaign will include limited-edition, custom-designed surfboards and exclusive offers for customers at Billabong stores.

Surfing has grown significantly in popularity globally and is experiencing a notable rise in Israel as well. An increasing number of Israelis are embracing this challenging, thrilling sport, with more surfers and popular surfing beaches emerging across the country. International recognition of surfing as an Olympic sport, along with Israeli surfers participating in competitions, has greatly boosted public awareness and interest.

Samsung, one of the world’s leading tech companies, places high importance on supporting various sports. The company served as the primary sponsor of the Paris Olympics, underscoring its commitment to promoting extreme sports, including surfing.

In line with efforts to promote surfing beyond Olympic events, Samsung Israel launched a unique local initiative with Billabong, the surf fashion brand. This collaboration includes a series of surfing videos, with the first installment featuring “Hani Surfboards,” a custom surfboard designer. In the videos, surfers receive expert tips on surfboard building, and the public is invited to join an online contest to win a custom-built surfboard by Hani, along with a Galaxy Flip 6 and shopping vouchers worth NIS 3,000 for Billabong stores.
