The Israeli shoe retailer SCOOP is expanding with the launch of six new stores nationwide this month. The new locations include Ramat Mall in Jerusalem, Star Center in Ashdod, Big Or Akiva, and a store in Beit Shemesh. Two additional stores will open in Arab communities at the Saban Center in Tayibe and the Saban Center in Rahat.

The total investment for these openings is estimated at NIS 7 million. Each store will feature SCOOP’s updated concept, designed by architect Meir Shochat, offering a modern Italian-inspired look that aligns with the brand's image. This new design aims to provide an enjoyable, comfortable, and efficient shopping experience for families.

The first store, located in Ramat Mall, Jerusalem, spans approximately 180 square meters and marks the second SCOOP store in the capital, with the first located at 44 Jaffa Street. Following this opening, another store will launch at Star Center in Ashdod, covering 190 square meters. Additional locations include a 150-square-meter store in Beit Shemesh near the Ramat D neighborhood and a 120-square-meter store at Big Or Akiva.

SCOOP continues its expansion in Arab communities with two new locations: one in Tayibe’s central Saban Center, spanning 150 square meters, joining an existing store in the city center operating for the past three years, and another store in Rahat’s Saban Center, covering 120 square meters, also joining an established location in the city center.

"With the rising cost of living and price increases in fashion and footwear, we are strengthening our network by opening new stores where prices are notably lower compared to the market," says Ronnie Insaz, one of SCOOP’s owners. "Israeli consumers are increasingly looking for high-quality products at fair prices, a trend that has grown significantly over the past year due to the ongoing conflict." Insaz adds that "the opening of these six stores is part of the company's growth strategy, aiming to reach 80 stores by the end of 2025. Currently, the network has approximately 63 stores, and this number will continue to grow. I hope to set an example for franchisees and other retail chain owners that the market, even in wartime, can be fertile ground for business opportunities rather than solely a financial crisis."

Insaz also highlights the Arab sector's long-standing role as a driver of Israel's economy: "We are opening two stores in significant centers in the sector, a trend we intend to continue in religious and ultra-Orthodox sectors as well."

To celebrate the opening of the six new stores, SCOOP will offer a special promotion throughout November: buy one, get one free on the new Fall-Winter 2024 collection. This promotion includes footwear for the entire family: women, children, and men.
