Have you ever wondered why finding a wedding dress is such a big deal? Isn't there a way to make the process easy and straightforward without much hassle? It's time to meet Blanca – the new sensation in the world of wedding dresses.
Meital Elkobi, owner of the Blanca studio, boasts many years of experience in the world of wedding dresses. A few years ago, she noticed that more and more brides were ordering wedding dresses online and immediately felt it was the next big thing. She shares how it all began: "I noticed that brides were starting to order wedding dresses online and just felt there was something big here. I decided to open the brand and offer brides the opportunity to buy a wedding dress for no more than NIS 3200."
In the studio, located in Kfar Shmaryahu, there are various styles of wedding dresses so that every bride can find her match. From boho styles to elegant dresses and short, sparkling dresses – perfect for tearing up the dance floor. "I design my dresses and incorporate the hottest trends. Today, brides want to wear three dresses, and the prices at my studio allow for that."
"We have boho-style dresses, classic dresses, dresses with pockets, jumpsuits, lace dresses with detachable sleeves, and of course, the classic dresses – we have a touch of every style and cut so everyone can find themselves."
Additionally, there's the option to order dresses online and save the trip. "It really surprised me that brides are open to buying a wedding dress from the website – but when you think about it, it's no different from any other dress, and it's just like buying an evening dress – only in white." Meital explains another advantage of Blanca: "There are many girls who want to try on a dress and decide if it's what they want, if it's the style that flatters them, without the long process of choosing fabric and returning for fittings. Just try it on and decide. Plus, we have a large selection of sizes and cuts, so there's almost no need for alterations."
Meital's inspiration is actually – the brides themselves. She always keeps a close eye on new trends and recognizes what Israeli brides love and want: "I live in the world of brides. They come here, and I see what they want and need, and I know how to pinpoint Israeli style. I listen to them, and when there are common trends, I make sure to bring them to the studio to meet their needs. Of course, I have styles that I love and am drawn to, but I am attentive to my brides and know how to cater to brides who want the trendiest dress and to those who want a classic, timeless style."
