Dream Island Resort, located between Kiryat Gat and Ashkelon, invites you to a revitalizing experience this Sukkot holiday. From October 20-22, 2024, join the wellness retreat led by health and fitness expert Ira Dolfin.
The “Treat & Retreat” program offers a range of activities that combine mind and body practices, designed to help participants begin the new year with positivity and energy.
Among the main activities of the retreat is a body-sculpting workout that combines functional exercises with movements that promote positive energy flow. This session will take place by the lake, with a stunning sunset view, led by Ira Dolfin. She will also give a lecture on healthy living and offer practical tips on adopting a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Water Therapy, Ice Baths, and Yogalates
Other activities include a traditional cacao ceremony followed by ecstatic dance, which encourages creativity and inner connection, Yogalates sessions blending yoga and Pilates for the benefits of both methods, and an ice bath workshop teaching breathing techniques and stress management, concluding with an ice-water immersion to boost physical and mental health.
Additionally, there will be workshops like “Starting the Year Right” and “Tools for a Peaceful Relationship,” and a special Watsu workshop for couples, teaching the fundamentals of water therapy for mutual relaxation.
Dream Island is a luxurious resort sprawling over 60 acres of breathtaking views in the Shfela region. Built on the site of the ancient Hamat Yoav baths, the resort features 26 suites, each offering a unique hospitality experience. Every suite is equipped with a jacuzzi or private pool, and some include private yards or spacious terraces.
Massive Water Complex and Full Spa Experience
The heart of the resort is its impressive 1,500-square-meter water complex, which includes three special pools: a flow pool, a sports pool, and a relaxation pool with built-in lounge beds. There are also two luxurious jacuzzi pools, a dry sauna, a wet sauna, and an authentic Turkish hammam. Outside, guests can enjoy a large heated outdoor pool with panoramic views.
The Dream Island spa includes 15 treatment rooms, offering a variety of treatments and massage techniques, along with a dedicated pool for Watsu therapy.
The resort also offers diverse culinary experiences. The “Armonim” restaurant serves gourmet dishes throughout the day, while food trucks are scattered across the resort, providing snacks and drinks at no additional charge to guests.
Another attraction is the wine cellar, located next to an ancient wine press from the Byzantine period discovered during the resort's construction. The cellar hosts wine workshops and tastings.
How Much Does It Cost? Participation in the retreat starts at NIS 590 per person, which includes unlimited access to the resort facilities, participation in retreat activities, and lunch at the Armonim restaurant. For a stay at the resort, a couple can enjoy a suite with a jacuzzi or private pool for NIS 2,300, on a half-board basis, with two full days of leisure at the resort and free access to the retreat.
