Air sirens sound across Gaza border communities, Hamas fires on Israel

Air sirens sounded in Or Haner and Erez under the jurisdiction of Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council and in Yad Mordechai and Nativ HaAsara in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council, both located close to the Gaza border.Sirens sounded on Saturday as Hamas fired rockets on southern Israel.Earlier on Friday evening, 16 rockets were fired from Gaza. Twelve were intercepted by the Iron Dome system and others landed in open fields. No injuries or damage were reported.
