Ambulances rush to Minsk protests after Belarus presidential vote

MOSCOW, Aug 9 - Several ambulances were seen rushing to the scene of protests that erupted in central Minsk after Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was set to claim another election win on Sunday, the Interfax news agency reported.
The Minsk police told Interfax that it was not aware of any protesters being injured.
Belarusian police fired stun grenades and began detentions across the country after supporters of the opposition decried state-approved exit polls that showed Lukashenko winning nearly 80% of the vote.
