Amnesty International condemn plans to close businesses owned by asylum seekers in South Tel Aviv

Human rights organization Amnesty International on Monday condemned plans to close businesses owned by asylum seekers in South Tel Aviv.
"The authorities are set in their opinion to make the lives of asylum seekers unbearable," Yonatan Gher, director of Amnesty International Israel said.
"They are not allowed basic living conditions, and now their shops are to be closed. People need to eat. It's hard not to think that Sharon Huldai is not cynically using asylum seekers in the lead up to the mayoral elections," Gher added.
