Coronavirus in Israel: 67,198 new cases, nearly 30% of tests positive

67,198 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Sunday, with 29.63% of tests returning positive, according to a Monday morning update by the Health Ministry. In total there were 527,223 active cases in Israel as of Monday morning.

783 patients were in serious condition, with 144 patients intubated. The death toll stood at 8,447 as of Monday morning.
