IDF deputy chief of staff Maj.-Gen. Herzi Halevi arrived in the US for a formal visit on Monday, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced.
He is scheduled to hold several meetings in the Pentagon and participate in a strategic forum together with his counterparts in the Joint Chiefs of Staff, EUCOM and CENTCOM.
Halevi will be accompanied by the head of the Strategy and Third Circle Division, Maj.-Gen Tal Kalman, the Defense Attaché in Washington and Head of the External Relations Division.
