MK Itamar Ben-Gvir is reportedly visiting the Temple Mount, according to Israeli media.
After a situation assessment on Wednesday, Israel Police Jerusalem District head Doron Turjeman decided to allow his visit to the holy site.
Ben-Gvir visits Temple Mount on the first day of every Jewish month. The first day of the Jewish month Nisan is on Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath when Ben-Gvir will be limited in his travel.
"Whoever has control over the Temple Mount has control over the whole land of Israel, and our enemies also understand this," said Ben-Gvir in a video posted Thursday by the Temple Mount administration.
