An Israeli was seriously injured in an assassination attempt in Nehora, a moshav in southern Israel, on Tuesday, Israel Police said.
Police forces are collecting evidence at the scene while conducting a search to locate the perpetrator of the shooting, who escaped the area. According to reports, the man targeted is connected to Shalom Domrani, an Israeli crime boss.
The victim was treated by paramedics who arrived on the scene before being rushed to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The incident's background, as well as the assailant's motives, are currently unknown.
