Magnitude 5.7 earthquake strikes southern Sumatra in Indonesia

An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 struck southern Sumatra, Indonesia region, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said on Wednesday.

The quake was at a depth of 60 km (37.28 miles), EMSC said.
