Bnei Brak teen arrested on suspicion of stabbing a man in a cemetery

A minor from Bnei Brak has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing another person earlier this week at the Rosh Ha'ayin Cemetary, Israel Police reported on Friday morning.

During a memorial service at the cemetery, an argument broke out between the 17-year-old suspected of carrying out the stabbing and the victim, an Elad resident in his twenties. 

The victim was transferred to Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Hospital, Petah Tikva and is reported to be in moderate condition. The suspect will be brought to a hearing at the Petah Tikvah District Court on Friday morning with a request for his detention to be extended.
