An Egyptian delegation will land in Israel on Monday evening for talks with Israeli officials on the release of senior Islamic Jihad members as part of the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian terrorist group and Israel, according to Israeli reports.
As part of the ceasefire brokered by Egypt, it agreed to attempt to pressure Israel into the release of the PIJ officials detained during Operation Breaking Dawn.
Sources told The Jerusalem Post earlier on Monday that Israel "did not agree to release Palestinian Islamic Jihad prisoners."
