A large wildfire erupted on Saturday in the Ayala nature reserve in the northern Jordan Valley in southern Israel, according to Israeli media.
Due to high winds, the flames are rapidly advancing in several directions, the reports state, putting nearby date farms in danger.
Firefighting aircraft were deployed to the area as Fire and Rescue crews at the scene struggled to contain the fire.
