Israeli forces thwarted the attempted smuggling of 20 kg. of illegal substances worth some NIS 820,000 at the Egyptian border, the IDF said late Tuesday night.
The forces were alerted by IDF field observers of two suspects attempting to cross into Israeli territory from Egypt.
The drugs were confiscated by Israel Police, the Israeli military added.
