A gun was found near a school in Merkaz Shapira during a routine patrol by Israel Border Police officers on Tuesday, Maariv reported.
Border Police officers noticed a suspicious item near the back entrance to the school during a routine patrol of the area, which turned out to be a revolver gun.
The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
